Abstract

Classrooms are so much more than just a space for learning. They are the backdrops of our childhood, spaces where we learn about the world around us, and how to socialise, engage and become independent thinkers. They are spaces of not only self-discovery but also for building relationships, a sense of community and belonging. They are equalisers, creating environments where all are encouraged to hope, dream and aspire for better; regardless of gender, social or economic background.
